Hacienda Matel is a hotel of rest!  The house rules are considered part of our reservation agreement with you. As a guest of our hotel and/or cabins Real Alto and Los Reyes , by reading and signing the registration upon arrival, you agree to abide by all of our Policies and/or House Rules, terms and conditions and procedures. 

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to register. Hotel Hacienda Matel does not accept children under 8 years of age; 8 years of age and older pay as extra person in double occupancy. 

For the sake of security and to prevent fraud, guests must confirm their identity by presenting a valid government issued photo ID (state driver's license, passport or INE) at check-in.

Check in and Check out for Los Reyes and Real Alto cabins is done at Hacienda Matel's front desk. Prices are without taxes, so if an invoice is required, 16% VAT and 3% lodging tax will be charged. 

1.- It is forbidden for users to perform, during their stay, acts that violate the morals, good manners or tranquility of the rest of the guests. The guest must behave with decency and morality within the establishment, being forbidden to disturb the order, make noises that disturb or disturb other guests, as well as using the room to perform any act or game prohibited by law. the establishment may cancel the lodging services in these cases.

2 .- The hotel reserves the right to admit occasional accompanying visitors to the hotel facilities, in no case will be allowed access to the rooms and / or hotel facilities. is a security measure for both the customer and the hotel. 

3.- It is forbidden to bring food and beverages into the hotel facilities, please refrain from doing so.

4.- The hotel is not responsible for refunding money in case the guest must end his/her stay before the established date. -

5.- Hacienda Matel's San Luis restaurant hours are: breakfast from 8:00 to 12:00 a.m., lunch from 1 to 5 pm and dinner from 5 to 9 pm. -

6.- Jacuzzi hours are from 10 am to 10 pm. (Only for guests staying at Hacienda Matel). All children under 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult in the jacuzzi and never alone.

7.- The time to be in all areas of the hotel is until 10 pm.

8.- The hotel does not allow pets in the rooms or in the facilities. 

9- No visitors are allowed in the rooms or in the hotel facilities (the Hacienda Matel hotel facilities are only for guests staying at the hotel, guests staying in the cabins Real Alto or Los Reyes, do NOT have access to the hotel facilities).

10.- The sheets, blankets, mattress covers, bed covers, towels and rugs that are dirty, torn or stained (blood or any other liquid or substance) the guest is the one who pays for the damage caused, generating an extra charge of $300.00 minimum or the total amount of the garment.

11.- Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and facilities (of the hotel and cabins Real Alto or Los Reyes) according to the national anti-smoking law, the fact causes deterioration of the same and will be charged 40% of the total rate as an additional cleaning cost in each incident. The rooms and facilities are smoke-free: smoking will only be allowed in areas designated by the company. In case of leaving the room impregnated with cigarette odor, a charge of $ 2,000.00 will be generated for cleaning and purification of the room.

12.- The establishment strictly prohibits the use of candles, incense, dangerous or flammable materials, as well as the use of chocolates and chewing gum without wrappers in our white linens.

13 .- The guest must maintain during his stay a proper conduct according to the rules of behavior of the hotel. 

14. The hotel is not responsible for valuables, jewelry, cell phones and/or money left in the room. The hotel is not responsible for scratches, thefts, breakdowns or damages to automobiles inside or outside the hotel.

15.- The hotel prohibits the removal of towels and robes or any furniture or equipment outside the hotel facilities, otherwise they will be charged to the guest's account. 

16.- Hacienda Matel is a hotel of rest, so no horns are allowed in the outdoor areas or loud voices, no children screaming in the areas, and no parties.

17,. It is strictly forbidden to bring weapons and drugs of any kind into the property, as well as access to the hotel with alcoholic beverages, corrosive or dangerous materials.

The non-compliance of the guest or his companions of these internal rules, will entitle the company to suspend your stay. Hotel Hacienda Matel, cabins Real Alto and Los Reyes, have a zero tolerance policy. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person for any reason that violates the established rules and policies. A guest will be refused service or evicted for: being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other intoxicating substance and acting in a disorderly manner to disturb the peace of other guests; failing to adequately supervise their children at all times; attempting to use the hotel for an illegal purpose; bringing: a firearm; including an explosive, dangerous or toxic substance, and which may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages or threatens to damage hotel property and/or cabins or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the established maximum occupancy, refuses to comply with reasonable rules or policies established by management for the proper operation and management of such establishments.
