Busuanga Island is made up of two towns. Coron in the east, and Busuanga in the west. It is the biggest island in the Calamianes group of islands, located north of Palawan. Busuanga is known for its dive sites, limestones islands, string of white beach islands, water falls, lakes, virgin forests, and wildfire nature reserve. It may be the lesser known town but it encompasses most of the sites of interest in the area. It is pristine, exotic, and uncrowded.
Estancia is a Spanish word for estate or farm. It is another loose transition of a place to stay or inn. This is the perfect word that the owners felt to name their vacation home, as it is all of these. La Estancia Busuanga sits on a private farm and estate, 20 to 30 minutes boat rides from nearby barrios of Salvacion, Panlaitan, and New Busuanga. It is a place not known to many except for a few select friends and family. This is their vacation home where they enjoy entertaining friends and family, which they recently opened to groups/individuals wanting to escape from the hustle-and-bustle of the city and enjoy nature at its best.

Reservations under the Refundable rate category may be refunded if you cancel at least 24 hours after reservation was made (for check-in dates within the next day or within the next 5 days), 1 week prior to arrival date, or one month prior to arrival (for advance bookings).
Terms and Conditions
Room Policy
Room rates are set based on twin sharing, unless stated otherwise.
Additional persons sharing rooms are charged extra per night per person with or without extra beds.
Extra person charge for adults is PHP1,120 per night per adult.
Extra person charge for children between 6-12 years old is PHP560 per night per child.
Child Policy
Children below 6 years old, sharing room with at least 1 adult, stay for free.
Children between 6-12 years old are given special rate of 50% in extra person charge and meals.
Children above 12 years old shall be charged applicable extra adult rates.
The number of children sharing rooms shall depend on the maximum capacity per room type.
Minors are not allowed to stay in a room with another adult other than the minor’s parents or relatives.
Van & Boat Transfers
Van transfers from/to the airport may be arranged by the resort with an additional charge of PHP 3,000 one-way per van.
Guests must notify La Estancia Busuanga at least 2 days in advance of their flight or arrival details should they want the resort to arrange the transfers.
Van transfers are given free for groups spending minimum number of days with minimum number of guests as follows:
- Minimum of 8 adult guests (paying full rate) staying a minimum of 4 nights
- Minimum of 6 adult guests (paying full rate) staying a minimum of 5 nights
- Minimum of 4 adult guests (paying full rate) staying a minimum of 7 nights
- Minimum of 2 adult guests (paying full rate) staying a minimum of 8 nights
Check-in/Check-out Policy
Standard check-in time is 2:00PM and standard check-out time is 12:00NN.
Early check-in or late check-out may be requested, subject to availability.
No-show/Shortened Stay
No refund shall be made in the event of no show or shortened stay.
Earth-Friendly
La Estancia Busuanga strives to be Earth-Friendly and aims to minimize its impact to the environment. Therefore:
- Please help maintain the Resort and environs free from garbage by disposing garbage in trash cans provided in rooms or within the resort.
- Please help us conserve water by informing the resort staff if there are leaks in the toilets or showers.
- Please help in conserving water by switching off the shower and faucet when not in use.
- Please turn off the air conditioner and lights when you leave the rooms.
- Linens and towels are changed every 3 days or upon request, this is to minimize use of electricity, water and detergent run-off which are detrimental to the environment.
- We minimize the use of plastic disposable containers such as bottled water, shampoo sachets, coffee and sugar sachets, etc. by providing these in refillable containers.
Health, Safety and Enjoyment
La Estancia Busuanga is a family-oriented resort. We encourage vitality, peace and order.
Any guest/s who are causing public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm; fighting; violence; unreasonable or untimely noise; abusive, obscene, or threatening language; harassment; and behavior that inhibits the enjoyment of other guests is unacceptable and will be escorted to vacate the resort premises with no refund whatsoever.
While at the Beach Area
La Estancia is in a natural setting and as in any natural environment presence of wild animals are expected. Swimming in the sea outside the netted section of La Estancia Busuanga is not advisable due to occasional presence of jellyfish. Guests, if they decide to swim, must be vigilant and shall do so at their own risk.
Children and non-swimmer guests must be accompanied and supervised by adult guests who have swimming skills.
Guests kayaking within the perimeter of the resort, trekking within the vicinity, or swimming in the sea should inform the resort personnel for proper guidance.
Smoking
Smoking inside rooms is strictly prohibited.
Noise and Loud Music
In consideration of other guests, kindly refrain from loud music or any loud noise between 10:00pm to 8:00am.
Loud speakers or any kind of mobile sound systems are allowed only during exclusive and pre-arranged functions.
Force Majeure
In case of acts of God, fortuitous events, or any condition beyond our control, La Estancia Busuanga or our carriers shall not be held responsible for failure to deliver services, nor be obligated to provide additional services. Delays and/or cancellations of flights and/or boat transfers resulting from or related to weather disturbances or as mandated by Government authorities are beyond the control of La Estancia Busuanga. La Estancia Busuanga will not be responsible for unused rooms or missed flights and no refund will be given on account of these events.
Travel Insurance/Safety Clauses/Waiver
To ensure peace of mind while on vacation, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. La Estancia Busuanga will not be responsible for any injuries, accidents, or death.
La Estancia Busuanga will not be responsible for expenses incurred due to airline, ferry, or bus delays or cancellation, lost luggage, health issues, or other unwanted and unforeseen scenarios.
Claiming against the insurance company is the responsibility of the guest. La Estancia Busuanga will only assist in providing all the necessary paperwork/documentation.
During shore/land transfers, excursions or any activities, La Estancia Busuanga nor any of its director, officers and/or employees shall not be held liable in any event whatsoever for injury or loss of life of its guest or third person arising from or in connection with any activities.
Other Policies
Bringing in of foods and drinks is strictly prohibited. Corkage fee shall be charged for alcohol brought in.
Room assignments will be advised upon arrival.
The Resort requires a valid ID to be submitted upon guest/s arrival and a copy of which will be taken for filing.
Passengers are required to wear their seatbelts/lifejackets at all times while traveling by land/sea.
The guest may opt to re-arrange the itinerary (i.e. dates of the various activities) on-site provided that La Estancia Busuanga is given ample time to prepare.
DISCLAIMER
La Estancia Busuanga shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal property, bodily injury or loss of life suffered by any guest arising from the use of any facilities or equipment within the resort, including but not limited to all vehicles, watercrafts and water sports.
Guests agree to render La Estancia Busuanga, its owners, officers and staff free and harmless from any claims arising from the use of any of the equipment or facilities in the resort.
Furthermore, all guests, by virtue of their reservation, acknowledge all the rules, regulations and guidelines of the resort and agree to abide by them.
