Property and Cancelation Policies :

Cancellation/changeof date Policy: Cancellation or the change of dates of a conference requiresnotice in writing from the sponsoring organization to The Lodge ChristianRetreat Center. The Email or postmark date will be considered the date of thecancellation/change of dates. Cancellation or change of dates by phone will notbe accepted. Fees will be factored from the cancellation/change of dates dateand under provisions of the contract. Cancellation/change of dates fees will bedue and payable within fifteen (15) days of cancellation or change of datesdate. Cancellation or change of dates of a conference after the contract hasbeen signed will be subject to the following fees. Exceptions are not madeunder any circumstance other than government closure or if conditions existwhich in the opinion of the Lodge Manager would not permit safe operation ofthe facility.

121 days prior to the start of Conference ($500)
91-120days prior to start of conference: Payment of 50% of minimum charge (Off Season$1,750. Peak Season $2,000)
61-90days prior to start of conference: Payment of 75% of minimum charge (Off Season$2,625. Peak Season $3,000)
60days or less from start of conference: Payment of 100% of minimum charge (OffSeason $3,500. Peak Season $4,000)

Terms and Conditions

This is a brief overview of our terms and condition. The group contract will contain the full terms and conditions.

1. A certificate of Liability Insurance is required for all group usage.
2. We require a minimum use for weekend reservations.
3. Insurance protection is the responsibility of the individual and/or the sponsoring group.
4. The group is responsible to transport members of their group to and from the hospital/doctor.
5. The group agrees to pay for any damages beyond normal wear to, or theft of, the Lodge property.
6. Illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, and pets are not permitted at The Lodge. Smoking is not permitted on the premises of Word of Life Fellowship Church, the LifeHouse or the Lodge Christian Retreat Center.
7. All cars are to be parked in approved areas only. Lodge guests are not to park in Zoe Coffee House’s parking lot during the cafés operating hours.
8. The Group and Lodge Guests agree to adhere to Business& Professions Code 18975 relating to Youth Service Organizations. The Group and Lodge Guests agree to adhere to Penal Code 11165.7 as it pertains to Business & Professions Code 18975.
9. We are compliant with California’s Assembly Bill 506 (AB506) regarding any minors that will reside with us during our stay at The Lodge Christian Retreat Center.AB-506 sets a standard of care, the concept of taking reasonable steps to prevent a foreseeable risk (in this case child sexual abuse), for Youth Service Organizations.
