This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.
Late Check-Out Hour: 14:00
Late Check-out Fees: $ 50.00
Late check out (after 10:00 and before 14:00) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancellation Policies :
We require 100% deposit at time of booking. Payment methods are either Credit Card (VISA. Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Bank Wire and/orPayPal. Your reservation will be held in our system until payment has been confirmed
Special Note: any reservation payments in excess of $2.999 (USD) - excluding PayPal, MUST be made via Bank Wire.
If you need to cancel a booking please let us know as far in advance as possible.
Upon written notice, you will be given a “net” refund and/or credit for payments received (calculated per the terms below).
Note: our cancellation fee is based on the total amount of your reservation(s).
- If you cancel 61 days or more before your arrival date there is a 10% cancellation fee and we will refund the remaining balance of your deposit directly to your original mode of payment.
- If you cancel 31-60 days before your arrival date there is a 25% cancellation fee and we will refund the remaining balance of your deposit directly to your original mode of payment.
- If you cancel 8-30 days before your arrival date, there is a 10% cancellation fee and you will receive a 90% credit towards a future reservation that lasts up to 2 years.
- If you cancel 4-7 days before your arrival date, there is a 50% cancellation fee and you will receive a 50% credit towards a future reservation that lasts up to 2 years.
- Any other form of cancellation with 72 hours of your arrival date - OR during your actual stay - will result in TOTAL loss of any payment received.
Terms and Conditions
Smoking: Smoking is ONLY permittedin designated areas (the BBQ/garden patio areas, the garden-view 2nd-floorbalcony area (outside Rooms 6 & 7) and the outdoor Coffee Shop area). Note: Smoking in any rooms or ocean-facingbalconies will result in a $250 USD penalty (per occurrence) fornon-compliance. Remember, we and neighboring hotels ALL havestraw roofs (palapas) and ocean breezes and cigarette embers are NOT a goodcombination.
NO Electric Hair Styling & GroomingTools (such as Hair Dryers,Flat Irons or Electric Shavers): Werun our electrical off Solar Panels and the use of any of these items willcollapse our system! Note: ANYnon-compliance will result in a FINE equaling the cost of such repairs.
Visitors: only Registered Guests will be allowed access toKENiZA Beach Hotel and Beach area. Note: ALL Visiting Family or Friends MUST registerwith Reception and leave their picture ID (which will be returned when theyleave).
Quiet Hours: from11:30 pm to 8:30 am. That means NO loud music, noise or parties inthe rooms/suites or the outside balcony areas, nor anywhere elseon KENiZA’s property. Note:There are multiple late-night bars and restaurants only a short walkfrom KENiZA and our Staff will be more than happy to recommend local favorites.
Pets: We love our furry friends; however, we do NOT permit guests tobring pets (of any kind).
Valuables can be left with Reception for safekeeping in the HotelSafe. KENiZA will not be liable for losses of anykind.
Keys: Room keys include a key for our Front Gate (locked at sunset). Asurcharge may be applicable for lost keys.
Electricity & Hot Water: available 24hours daily (though there may be brief moments around 8 am and 8pm, when the power may flicker or be momentarily off).
Drinking Water + Tap Water: our water is safe for brushingteeth, showering, etc., but we do NOT recommend drinking the tap water -due to its high mineral content/taste. · Note: Housekeepingprovides bottled water daily, according to occupancy. .
Wi-Fi: available in all rooms and most Common Areas (Subjectto weather conditions).
Air Conditioning: available from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am(with NO exceptions). Please ensure all Windows and doorsare securely closed during these hours. Each room has its ownremote control for controlling the A/C unit during the specified hours ofoperation.
Ceiling Fans: each room has a remote-controlled ceilingfan that is available 24 hours daily.
Amenities: organic shampoo, conditioner and soaps aresupplied (and replenished as needed for extended stays).
Communal Kitchen: all guests may use the ground-floorCommunal Kitchen. However, we ask that our guests kindly clean-upafter themselves.
Kayaks: Kayaks are available free-off charge to our guests, butmust be reserved in advance with Reception. Note: any lossor damage to kayaks, paddles or vests will be applied and charged to your cardon file.
Parking: there is no on-site/off-site parking available. However we can arrange airport pick-up and drop-off (for up to 8 people). Contact Reception for details.
Mandatory Damage Deposit: a refundable “open Credit Card voucher” will berequired at Check-in (to cover anyincidentals, penalties, loss or damage to our Rooms or property).
PenthouseGuests: cleaning of dirty dishesin the PH kitchen is NOT part of Housekeeping’s daily tasks. However,with a preauthorized fee of $25 USD (per occurrence), the staff willgladly do them for you. This charge would be added to your“open voucher”. Note: a surcharge of $100 USD will be added to the "open voucher" if anydishes are left dirty upon Check-out.
KENiZABeach Hotel will not be held liable for any accidents or incidents, regardlessof the nature or location, whether inside the rooms or on the property ingeneral. This includes any accident or incident involving kayaks or otheractivities provided by KENiZA Beach Hotel to Registered guests orVisitors.
In addition, I fully understand and agree that ANYnon-compliance to the TERMS and CONDITIONS may result in an economicalpenalty, and I hereby authorize KENiZA Beach Hotel to charge such penalties to mycredit card on file. Furthermore, I agree that KENiZA Beach Hotelreserves the right to expel any Registered guest(s) and/or Visitors whoputs the Property, the Staff, other guests or neighboring property at risk orin harm’s way due to negligence. Should such an unfortunatesituation arise, please note that the remaining days left in the reservationwill be cancelled and NO refund nor recourse will be granted
