Terms and Conditions
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted at Muddy Moose. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your stay and charge up to $250 for damages should we find you, or evidence of you, smoking.
Check-in:
Check-in times are pre-arranged between the guest and Muddy Moose and can be anytime between 3:00pm and 11:00pm. Cabins are guaranteed to be ready by 3:00pm. We ask that you provide us with an approximate arrival time so that we can best schedule our day and greet you.
Check-out:
Check-out time is 10:00am. Any departure after 10:00am is subject to a fee equal to the cost of the cabin for 1 day.
Names of Guests:
For safety reasons we require the names of all guests staying at Muddy Moose. Names need to be provided when making a reservation.
Maximum Occupancy:
Each cabin has a maximum occupancy. We reserve the right to refuse lodging to your party, and retain all money collected, should you exceed the specified number. Exceeding the limit will result in immediate termination of your stay.
1 Bedroom Cabins: 2 adults. An infant in a crib is allowed.
2 Bedroom Cabins: 4 adults. A 5th person is allowed as long as they are under the age of 12.
3 Bedroom Cabins: 6 adults.
Heating The Cabins:
We keep our winter rates the same as our summer rates with the expectation that the heating system will not exceed 72 degree Fahrenheit. Radiant heat systems create a comfortable setting with the thermostats set between 65 and 70. We reserve the right to charge a fee of $150 per day should the cabin thermostat exceed 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Damage Fee:
We inspect each cabin after your departure. We reserve the right to charge a damage fee should we find any damage to the interior or exterior of the property. We will call to discuss the charges prior to processing the credit card.
Children:
Muddy Moose is the perfect place for children of all ages. For their safety, we do require that they be supervised at all times.
Dogs:
Dogs are welcome in all cabins. There is an additional nightly fee of $20, with a two dog maximum. Dogs are expected to be well-mannered and leashed when in the common areas. Dogs are not permitted in the Recreational Barn.
Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. We reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee of $75 should we find that the dogs have soiled the furniture, rugs or bedding. Owners are expected to pick up after their dogs and
control them at all times.
