Soul Food is a guesthouse in Harlem. We are located 10 blocks away from Central Park in the Historic Mount Morris Park District. 4 blocks away from the #2 or #3 subway, 1/2 hour walk to Museum Mile. We are in Manhattan, close to 42nd Street (15 minutes by subway), but away from the chaos/cacophony of Midtown. Each room is a private room in what can be described as a Victorian Mansion. The owner lives on site. If you want an inside NYC view of how people live, this is the place for you. It is an art filled house, with many of the original details untouched in a diverse neighbourhood with lots of character. It is a tribal art lover's delight.
Please note: We are a guesthouse. We do not rent apartments. Each accommodation is a private rooms in someone's house. Each room has different amenities. Please pay close attention to what you reserve. None of our rooms have kitchens/kitchen sinks, although there may be a mini-fridge/coffee maker in some rooms.
