Advance Purchase/Non-refundable 100% taken at time of booking, no refund available.
Group bookings- Greater than 8 persons, greater than 4 weeks prior to arrival date, no penalty.
Less than 4 weeks prior to arrival date, 100% payment.
Please note that groups who book individually or with multiple reservations will be treated as a collective group.
Group bookings - Greater than 8 persons; 30% non-refundable deposit if more than 6 weeks in advance of arrival date,
Less than 6 weeks in advance of arrival date 100% payment.
In regard to groups, it is at the discretion of management to accept these bookings. We may have availability but business may not suit, as we have the comfort of all guests staying to consider, so that everyone can fully enjoy their stay.
Terms and Conditions
a) Check in is from 15.00 to 21.00
b) Check out is from 08.30 to 12.00
c) We do not accept stag, hen or similar parties. We cater for individuals, couples, families and small groups.
d) We have a strict No Smoking policy including E cigarettes. Smoking in the bedroom is strictly prohibited and a €100.00 fine is charged automatically to those who smoke, including out the window of the bedroom.
e) Breakfast is served daily from 08.30 to 10.00 in The Merry Monk restaurant.
f) Any modification or cancellation to a reservation must be submitted by email to accommodation@themerrymonk.ie for consideration and approval.
g) We are a small business and cancellations impact greatly it's running. Therefore we have a 7 day cancellation policy on regular bookings and a 4 to 6 week policy on group bookings. For those who have purchased an 'Advance Purchase '/Non Refundable' booking, these bookings do not have a cancellation policy . 100% payment is taken at the time of booking and is non refundable.
h) Free Car Parking is provided, The Merry Monk Bar and Restaurant does not take responsibility for the property of our customers and customers park at their own risk.
j) Pets. No pets are allowed.
