At The Sadhu GardenInn, we try to keepthings fun and friendly however, we are not a “Party Hostel” and we ask allguests to be quiet in the bedroom and hall areas after Midnight. We also expectour guests to be considerate and respectful to one another, the hostel staff,and to comply with the hostel rules. Guests are also expected to keep thingsclean and to leave shoes outside of bedrooms. Offensive behaviour will not betolerated and any guest acting in this manner will have their reservationcancelled and be asked to leave.General Hostel Terms
- Guests cannot use the hostel for any commercial purposes
- Sadhu Garden Inn is not responsible for any bodily harm, theft, loss or damage to any personal effects
- Guests responsible for any bodily harm, theft, loss or damage to any personal effects of persons will be evicted and held to the full extent of local law
- Guests who have been evicted will not receive a refund
- Guests will be expected to reimburse the hostel for any damages caused by inappropriate behaviour. To inappropriately use any emergency equipment or systems is a serious offence and offenders will be subject to fines and eviction from the hostel
- Inappropriate behaviour will result in eviction from the premises with no refund and in some cases a fine.
- To book a bed for anyone under 16 years must be requested by email previously and possibly may not be accepted
- For security reasons, some common areas are being monitored by camera
- Possession or use of any illegal substances are not permitted on the premises and offenders will be evicted and held to the full extent of local law
- Our hostel has a strictly no smoking policy on the premises and fines may be given if this rule is broken.
- In the case of Hostelworld group bookings it is the responsibility of the guest who made the booking to organise any owned payment of the shared Hostelworld deposit. Our hostel are only responsible for separating the cost per guest received from the booking company, which does not include deposits paid to them.
- We have a strict policy that only our guests with a room or bed booking can enter our hostel bedrooms. No visitors or customers using other public facilities are allowed to enter the hostel bedrooms. If an acquaintance wants to visit a guest they can meet in the communal areas and use the public facilities. However all visitors must leave the premises by 11pm.
- New arrivals can check into the hostel after 2pm each day, however, we are quite flexible with check in times if a is bed available before 2pm
- Passport is required to validate identification and for local police reports
- All rooms and dorms are payable in advance
- Guests must check out by 12 noon so our staff can prepare for new customers. If guests checkout after this time then late fees will apply, please help us maintain our high standard of cleanliness by vacating the hostel on time
- If the customer wishes to extend their stay reception must be notified before 12 noon and will depend on availability
- If a customer leaves without paying, the credit card used for the booking will be charged for the full balance owed.
- You must cancel with the hostel directly by email or by phone at least 48 hours before the booking date or we will charge you for “no show” or late cancellation.
- Cancellations 48 hours before the booking date will be free of charge.
- Please note that we are not able to refund any deposits guests pay on Hostelworld and these must be negotiated by the guest directly with Hostelworld.
Deposit and full payment
- A minimum deposit of 30% of the tour/service price per person is required to confirm and secure your booking. We accept a variety of different payment methods by cash, credit card or bank transfer which includes bank charges.
- The total tour price per person must be paid the day before the tour/service departs.
- Cancellation by the tour/service operators will fully refunded and an alternative will be offered where possible.
- In the case of tours/services cancelled due to bad weather conditions / tropical storm, we will contact you as soon as we get the news and offer you the choice of an alternative option or different date, if neither are suitable a full refund will be paid.
- No additional compensation will be paid by you in case of these types of cancellations
- All cancellations must be received in writing, by fax or email.
- More than 30 days prior to departure, no cancellation charge.
- From 15 to 30 days prior tour departure, the cancellation charge is 30% of the full amount plus any additional or costs resulting to us.
- Within 15 days prior departure or no-show, the cancellation charge is 100% of the full amount.
- The above penalties apply when the entire booking is cancelled and apply to all services including cruise and land arrangements. Customer or their travel agent must telephone or send an email to Shadhu Garden Inn Cat Ba to cancel the reservation and land arrangements.
